Your legacy makes a difference
A legacy makes projects possible that cannot be funded from the regular care budget. These include innovative research into better treatments, additional facilities for children and families, and international collaboration to accelerate breakthroughs.
Legacies are very valuable to us because they enable us to carry out the most urgent projects. Would you prefer to designate your legacy for a specific purpose based on personal considerations? You can choose one of our focus areas: quality of life, talent program, research, data and innovation, or internationalization.
How can you leave a legacy to the Máxima Center?
You can include the Princess Máxima Center in your will in two ways:
As an heir: you name the Princess Máxima Center Foundation as one of your heirs or as your sole heir. The Foundation will then receive part or all of your estate.
With a bequest: you leave a fixed sum of money or a specific asset, such as a home or shares.
Every legacy, large or small, is very meaningful to us.
Recording your legacy wishes
Would you like to include the Máxima Center in your will? You can arrange this with a civil-law notary. The civil-law notary will discuss your wishes with you and ensure that they are legally and correctly recorded in your will. Legacies to the Máxima Center are handled through the Princess Máxima Center Foundation. The Foundation has ANBI status and therefore does not pay inheritance tax. Your entire legacy will benefit the Máxima Center.

Would you like to support the Princess Máxima Center during a funeral or at another moment in memory of a loved one? Through our In Memoriam platform, you can easily create a digital fundraising page. Invite family, friends, colleagues, and others to make a donation. The link can also be included on the funeral announcement. Every contribution is immediately visible and goes directly to the account of our Foundation.
